The Texas Association for Behavior Analysis DFW Area Autism SIG focuses on disseminating information about treatment for individuals on the Autism Spectrum based applied behavior analysis. The SIG also maintains a Directory of Behavioral Consultants who offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
The DFW Area Autism SIG typically hosts two types of events:
Presentation Meetings: Presentations are designed to present information primarily targeting professionals in relevant fields regarding ABA and persons on the Autism Spectrum. These meetings occur several times annually at varied locations in the DFW area.
Social Activities: These events provide persons interested in ABA work and persons with Autism to meet and interact in an informal setting. These events also occur throughout the year.
Activities of the DFW Area Autism SIG are directed by a committee, which includes:
