ABAI STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS FROM TxABA
As part of TxABA's commitment to supporting students of behavior analysis, the TxABA Council plans to award $500 scholarships to two student members (only students who are listed as presenting authors in the ABAI program are qualified to receive the scholarship) who will be presenting their research at this year's annual conference of ABAI in San Antonio in May. The purpose of the scholarship is to defray any education-related costs or costs associated with attending the conference. Students who are interested in applying for a scholarship should submit (1) a brief, 2- to 3-page synopsis of the research that they will be presenting at the ABA conference, along with a current vitae, (2) proof of full-time student, intern, or resident status, and (3) email from ABAI confirming that your submission had been accepted. The synopsis should include the purpose and importance of the research, method, and results (including graphs or other data displays). The synopsis and vitae should be submitted to Duy Le at duyle69@yahoo.com or Manish Vaidya at Manish.Vaidya@unt.edu no later than February 12th. The recipients of the 2010 scholarships will be announced at the TxABA Regional Conference in Galveston on February 26-27. |
